CITIBANK Opens with Axis Biometric ATMs ( bank intends to set up 25-35 ATMs within a year) 

Axis Software Pvt. Ltd and Citibank has launched two biometric automated teller machines (ATMs) in Hyderabad and Mumbai. The bank intends to set up 25-35 biometric ATMs in the country within a year. Citibank is planning to focus on micro-finance institutions to expand its customer base. The bank has launched a no-frills savings account, Pragati, for lower income segment.
